Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

I’m a little late in finding this tag now that I’m spending more time blogging and reading other blog posts. I’m trying to catch up in the blogging world, so my posts will be more frequent (even though I said I’d post only twice a week) during this summer.

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?

There are quite a few actually. I definitely don’t tan in any way, but only because I’m happy with my complexion (it took me a while to accept that I’m lighter complected and that’s okay). My hair also gets minimal attention, it’s either natural or straight, and I only use aloe vera gel to help style it.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

Unfortunately, I don’t, but I rarely wear make-up day-to-day and I mostly use my beauty blender to apply foundation and concealer. I do need to wash my brushes more often though…the thought bacteria makes me cringe!

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

Honestly, I rarely even have my nails painted. I may this summer now that I have some spare time, and any chipped nails won’t last long. Once they chip I start to pick at the remaining polish.

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

I usually try to have spare money just in case I need to repurchase a beauty product. If I don’t however, it could take a while until I am able to purchase anything.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

Something that I get frustrated with myself about is squeezing my pores. I never did it before, until I saw my old roommate doing it, and now I’m somewhat obsessed. I hate blackheads, and I’m always looking for alternatives to squeezing them out!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Studying is definitely number one.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

Absolutely not if I can help it. I love taking my time to get ready, especially for special occasions or even the weekend, so I start getting ready ASAP.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

I hadn’t realized this was a “thing”, but I do it often. My budget is always tight, so very seldom am I able to spend money on wants and not needs.

9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collections?

I actually re-purposed my old Glossybox boxes and used the tops and bottoms to store my nail polishes, make-up, and even skin-care products. I love having everything organized, so I’d say they are fairly organized.

I haven’t done a tag in a while, I love doing these fun types of posts! I hope you enjoyed my answers, and feel free to do this tag if you haven’t already.

Have a wonderful day!
